1. Introduction
Hento respects the intellectual property rights of others. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to clear, formatted notices of alleged copyright infringement.
2. Takedown Request Requirements
If you are a copyright owner or authorized representative thereof, and believe content hosted on our Service infringes your copyrights, you may submit a formal notification containing the following elements in writing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g. title of anime series or manga chapter).
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, and specific URL paths to locate that material on the Hento platform.
- Contact details of the complaining party (including name, physical address, phone number, and email address).
- A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

4. Counter-Notification
If your content was removed due to a DMCA takedown notice and you believe this was due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our copyright agent containing your contact info, signature, identification of the removed file, and a statement consenting to local federal jurisdiction.
